MaxCommunicator™
MaxCommunicator™ is a personal Unified Communications service capable of directing all of your incoming calls and faxes. MaxCommunicator can manage your extension preferences; provide call transfer, extension monitoring and call history, call screening, conferencing features and much more!
Call Management

- One Number Access: The MaxCommunicator allows you to have a single number for all your communications needs. If you are a Microsoft Outlook user you can use the MaxOutlook version which allows you to have true Unified Communication…email, voicemail and faxes all from one screen.
- Find Me/Follow Me: The MaxCommunicator allows you to forward your calls to any telephone number you want to be reached, 24 hours a day anywhere you are. If you’re not sure which number you’ll be at The MaxCommunicator can call all the numbers you’ve listed at the same time. And, if you’re sure you don’t want to be disturbed just click DND and MaxCommunicator will forward all calls to voice mail. Plus you can set the schedule when it is convenient for you!
- One Number Access with Screening: Before tracking you down, The MaxCommunicator will request the name of the caller. When it finds you it will announce the caller’s name giving you the opportunity to accept the call or send it to voice mail. And should you accept that call with our powerful mobile extension option, you may transfer or conference that call to another extension or even an outside number by pressing *ext or *9 and the number. Perfect for handling customer service issues.
- Greetings: The MaxCommunicator provides you the capability to customize your calls in queue announcements and up to 9 Activity State/Greetings. Plus you can easily record your own customized announcements from your voicemail too.
- Call Screening: If you are at your desk and you do not wish to take the ringing call you may direct the call to your voicemail. If you are on a call and a second call comes in, you may chose to send the call to voicemail or after the ring options you setup, the caller will go into your own personal queue. You may tell the caller in your own voice what their options are…”.please hold or press # to leave a message.” Just think about the amount of phone tag you can eliminate with this powerful feature?
Message Management
Voice Mail: The MaxCommunicator is voice mail on steroids! Not only will it take each message with date and time:
- Automatic Call Return: It’ll store the Caller ID of the caller so you can simply press one button to return the call.
- Forward: It can forward all your messages to your email or other extensions (you can even add an optional mailbox that will deliver messages to users on other systems.)
- Notifications: MaxCommunicator™ can notify you of a message waiting by: email; pager; mobile phone text message; stutter tone; and message waiting indicator.
Fax to E-Mail Option: Just like voice mail, MaxCommunicator™ will efficiently process all your faxes and:
- Forward: At your command, it can forward the fax to your fax machine or any fax machine in the world. It can also forward the message to your email.
- Notifications: MaxCommunicator™ can notify you of a fax message waiting by: email; pager; and mobile phone text message
Extension Workflow Management
Extension Monitoring:
- Monitor: Lets you see who is on the phone, their activity state and if they are on a call who they are talking to.
- DSS/BLF: Most phone systems require expensive and bulky handsets to give you advance functions like Line Park, and DSS/BLF buttons. With a click of a mouse you can call a colleague

- Call History: How many times have you written a number down either wrong, or worse lost the scrap of paper it was jotted down on? With a click of the mouse you can see all the calls that you made or that came in to your extension…You can sort by date, caller id name and much more. And if you want to call them back just click on the number and the system will dial it for how. It doesn’t get any easier than that! Plus you can make notes about the call
